ULTRASOLVE® H 2400

Comprised by products with different chemical functions, ethers and esters, and variable evaporation rates, from slow to fast, the ULTRASOLVE® can serve different segments such as automotive, industrial paints, wood paints, and printing ink (rotogravure and flexography).

THE ULTRASOLVE® H 2400 solvent is a high-boiling point ether that provides slow evaporation and superior film formation, resulting in a high-quality finish. It is compliant with most printing paint resins, acting as active solvent, retarder and coupling for water-soluble systems.

Compliant with most acrylic resins, cellulosic systems, epoxies, polyester, polyurethanes, and hybrids, acting as an active solvent in the polymeric system, the product is also a solvent with a high boiling point, graded as a heavy solvent, allowing a slower and proper film formation.

For flexographic paints, the ULTRASOLVE® H 2400 solvent features low solvent retention after printing compared with Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether, which means perfect affinity between polymer and solvent, allowing the application of paint without film retention.

Thinner formulated with the ULTRASOLVE® H 2400 solvent enables good adherence to the substrate, maintains color and brightness, even during solvent replacement.

Why choose the ULTRASOLVE® H 2400 solvent?

  • High solvency power;
  • Excellent film formation and final paint finishing;
  • Low toxicity;
  • High efficiency as a retarder solvent;
  • Excellent color stability;
  • Low risk in the GHS classification;
  • Listed as positive by the EuPIA (European Printing Ink Association);
  • Low odor;
  • Low retention in flexible films;
  • High quality printing;
  • High solubility efficiency;
  • Low hygroscopicity;
  • Low solvent replacement in the machine.
