ULTROIL® EB

They ensure the quality of the different phases and boost yield in oil recovery.

During the production of hydrocarbons, an emulsion can form due to the presence of natural emulsifying agents in oil, as well as water and sediments, impacting its quality and the process yield. Therefore, the treatment of the produced fluids is critical to ensuring efficient recovery and guaranteeing the quality of the oil. ULTROIL® EB is a compact and all-around product line of demulsifying bases, including solutions that will provide the necessary properties for all stages of the emulsion breaking process.

As a surfactant company with extensive knowledge in oil and water systems, Oxiteno provides a portfolio of bases with several functions, comprising solutions based on alkoxylated phenolic resins, EO / PO block copolymers, alkoxylated polyols, and alkoxylated polyethyleneimines. ULTROIL® EB is made up of chemical solutions that drive not only fast water separation but also coalescence and flocculation of small drops of water that increase and accelerate the dehydration of crude oil.

The ULTROIL EB® demulsifying bases can also be synergistically combined, providing better performance for the final demulsifying formulation.

Benefits:

  • Less time in separation tanks (resulting in higher yield rates);
  • Avoids high viscosity issues resulting from residual emulsion and pipeline corrosion risks;
  • Lower use of demulsifying bases to meet commercial BS&W requirements;
  • Applicable in light, medium, and heavy crude oil systems.
