What was the challenge?
Monitoring the flow of trucks transporting finished products is essential for effective intra-logistics management in industrial units. However, real-time monitoring is a challenge due to its high complexity and technology access requirements. We saw an opportunity to modernize logistics management by collecting real-time data on vehicle dwell times, allowing us to analyze processes, identify issues, and increase productivity.
Our solution
In collaboration with Logpyx, a startup from Minas Gerais specializing in Yard Management Systems (YMS) for internal logistics, we implemented Revolog—an Internet of Things (IoT) project designed for yard management.
Through this initiative, Indovinya began monitoring truck times and movements using sensors with UWB radio frequency technology. The proof of concept was developed at the Camaçari Unit (BA) and has since become routine practice.
Results
What was the challenge?
Demand for animal-free and low environmental impact product testing is continuously growing. Committed to a sustainable future, Indovinya partnered with Eleve Science, a startup specializing in alternative methods to animal testing and in vitro technologies.
Our solution
Using artificial skin (RHE), our scientists can test personal care products in a safe and sustainable way, guaranteeing innovation and high performance. This method delivers faster, more accurate, and more affordable results, while being eco-friendly and cruelty-free.
What was the challenge?
Developing new chemical molecules is a complex and time-consuming process that requires extensive modeling, testing, and validation to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Seeking to accelerate this innovation cycle and explore more sustainable pathways, Indovinya announced a partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU) to advance molecule development using artificial intelligence.
Our solution
In partnership with LSU, we launched a research project focused on using generative AI for molecule design. By combining advanced algorithms with chemical expertise, we can predict and optimize structures with high potential for industrial application. This initiative aims to anticipate regulatory trends and reduce the time needed to develop innovative solutions with a lower environmental impact.

What was the challenge?
To support the development of the communities where we operate, we launched the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge, inviting companies, universities, associations, research institutes, and startups to propose sustainable, creative projects that encourage entrepreneurship.
Aligned with Indovinya’s objectives, the winner of the first edition was the Renova Mamona Project, led by the startup TOCA Ambiental.
Our solution
The Renova Mamona project promotes the sustainable cultivation of castor beans in the Quilombola Community of Cordoaria, in Camaçari (BA), by implementing agroforestry systems. Since 2023, more than 4,000 m² have been planted, producing 1,000 seedlings.
Beyond environmental benefits, the initiative supports female participation in the agricultural sector, encourages the marketing of castor beans within Indovinya’s supply chain, and offers training in agroecology and entrepreneurship—strengthening the local economy and empowering the community.
What was the challenge?
Hydrotropes are essential ingredients to ensure the stability of cleaning formulations, prevent the separation of components, and maintain effectiveness over time. Recognizing their importance and the potential for advancement in this field, we saw an opportunity to innovate with a plant-based alternative, combining high performance with environmental responsibility, and a focus on well-being.
Our solution
Drawing on decades of expertise in applied chemistry, Indovinya developed SURFONIC® H-1040, an anionic hydrotrope with more than 80% plant-based origin, free of phosphates, aromatics, and BTEX.
In addition to being biodegradable and safe, it delivers superior performance, requiring only 1/3 to 1/4 of the dosage of SXS to stabilize formulations. Its liquid format makes it easy to handle and reduces energy consumption in the manufacturing process.

O processo tradicional é manual, requer jatos d’água e produtos sanitizantes nas paredes internas dos tanques.
Este é um método demorado, caro, com alto consumo de água e com validade curta.
Nossa solução
Atenta às oportunidades de colaboração com o ecossistema, a Indovinya convidou a startup Aurratech para testar a tecnologia Fog In Place (FIP) nas carretas.
O projeto conta com o uso de sanitizante gasoso para cobrir 100% das superfícies, incluindo válvulas, com um baixíssimo consumo de água.
Resultados
– Desde a implementação, em 2021, a tecnologia foi usada em mais de 7.500 viagens
– Redução de 99% no consumo de água, com economia de mais de 2 milhões de litros de água
– Redução de mais de 600 toneladas de emissões de CO2
– Aumento da validade da sanitização, dobrando o tempo de eficácia e aumentando a disponibilidade de veículos em períodos de alta demanda
– Redução de 90% no tempo de sanitização
Atenta às demandas de consumo dos consumidores finais por uma cadeia sustentável, a Indovinya anunciou uma parceria com a Holiferm, uma startup do Reino Unido, para acelerar o desenvolvimento da tecnologia pioneira de biossurfactante ao mercado.
O resultado da iniciativa foi o lançamento da linha SURFONIC BIO® que oferece biossurfactantes biodegradáveis e de alto desempenho, com benefícios como:
– Baixa Toxicidade: suave para a pele e o meio ambiente
– Suavidade: ideal para peles sensíveis.
– Biodegradabilidade Aprimorada: decompõe-se facilmente, reduzindo o impacto ecológico
A linha inclui agentes umectantes, emulsificantes e dispersantes para uma ampla gama de produtos, como limpadores faciais, removedores de maquiagem, produtos antiacne, sabonetes líquidos, xampus, cuidados com a pele e muito mais.
Além disso, o SURFONIC BIO® tem propriedades de condicionamento inovadoras, com um novo depósito de patente registrado em 2024.
What was the challenge?
To accelerate innovation and better integrate Research & Development (R&D) processes globally, Indovinya set out to overcome traditional development limitations. Meeting customer needs in an agile, data-driven way required adopting new digital approaches.
To address this, the company created an R&D Digitalization and Applied Sciences area, dedicated to digital transformation, automation, and the use of artificial intelligence in developing new products and processes.
Our solution
Our team of specialists focuses on applied artificial intelligence, automation, molecular prediction, and nanotechnology, combining internal capabilities with strategic partnerships and market solutions.
We developed digital platforms such as R&D Intelligence, which organizes and reuses historical data as a strategic knowledge source. We also introduced tools like Herb AI Performer, which uses neural networks to predict the bio-efficacy of herbicides in 72 hours—a process that previously took 30 days.
This new structure promoted a cultural shift, with actions such as hackathons, workshops, and training sessions, instilling a digital mindset in all our teams.
