A Mal\u00e1sia e a Indon\u00e9sia concentram mais de 90% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o deste material de origem renov\u00e1vel. A Oxiteno, com a sua unidade Oleoqu\u00edmica, localizada no Polo Industrial de Cama\u00e7ari (BA), \u00e9 a \u00fanica empresa no Brasil que fabrica \u00e1cidos graxos, \u00e1lcoois graxos e glicerina a partir de PKO. Estes tr\u00eas derivados s\u00e3o a base da fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de in\u00fameros produtos da Oxiteno nos segmentos de Personal Care, Home Care and I&amp;I, al\u00e9m da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o em alimentos. Eles est\u00e3o presentes em xampus, condicionadores, cremes<br>para pele, produtos para higiene oral, entre outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabemos que a cadeia de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>\u00f3leo de palma<\/strong>, incluindo o <strong>\u00f3leo de palmiste<\/strong>, ainda apresenta desafios em aspectos sociais, ambientais e econ\u00f4micos. Face a esses desafios, e conectado a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o governamental Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), a Oxiteno entende a import\u00e2ncia de poder rastrear os fluxos de abastecimento dos portos, refinarias, f\u00e1bricas, e, com o tempo, at\u00e9 suas planta\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esse objetivo \u00e9 parte integrante de um fornecimento com maior transpar\u00eancia em nossa cadeia de valor. Para isso, durante o ano de 2019, 15% de todo o volume de PKO comprado pela Oxiteno foi <strong>certificado RSPO<\/strong>, modalidade Mass Balance, o que garante a rastreabilidade do nosso PKO de fontes conhecidas, mesmo misturado com fontes n\u00e3o certificadas destse produto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 importante ressaltar que a Oxiteno compra essa mat\u00e9ria prima somente de <strong>fornecedores <\/strong>certificados RSPO, operacionalizando de acordo com nossos compromissos de sustentabilidade.
