Promotes the return of injected fluids and reduces damage caused to formation
Stimulation operations are performed by injecting fluids at high pressure to fracture rock formations or an acidic solution that can dissolve some of the minerals in the mineralogical composition of rock. Once the injection of stimulation fluids is completed, the rock’s internal pressure pushes the injected fluids back to the surface, which is known as a flowback, along with the hydrocarbons from the reservoir.
ULTRAFRAC® FB Line It is a technology developed to maximize the return of injected fluids and reduce damage caused to the formation.
ULTRAFRAC® FB Line comprises non-ionic molecules that can stay stable in a wide range of temperatures and salinity. The system reduces the surface tension of the stimulation fluids and their interfacial tension with oil, without forming emulsions with the resulting hydrocarbons, in addition to maintaining the wettability of the rocks.
