Kip Sharp – US Senior R&D Manager at Oxiteno – will present the talk, “New Insights in Leaching – Evaluation of Architectural Water-Based Paints.” The talk will be about the improving the durability of architectural paints. Surfactant leaching is an undesirable occurrence that reduces the durability of paint and occurs when recently applied paints are exposed to water or high humidity environments. Oxiteno’s technologies enable the development of low-VOC outdoor paints with higher dirt pick-up resistance, improved latex film formation, and reduced surfactant leaching.
