NGO SOS Mata Atlântica and Oxiteno

Oxiteno donates to NGO responsible for the reforestation of the Atlantic Forest.

Oxiteno, a leader in the production of surfactants and specialty chemicals in the Americas, has made a donation to the NGO – SOS Mata Atlântica. This donation was converted into 1,000 native tree saplings to be planted in the coming months. The Forests of the Future project aims to restore forests and its main mission is to inspire society in the defense of the Atlantic Forest biome, which has been reduced to only 12.4% of its original coverage in Brazil. More than 3,500 volunteers are part of this movement, which is also backed by sponsors.

Oxiteno believes that it is possible to balance economic prosperity with environmental protection and meet the needs of society. To this end, it has a Strategic Sustainability Plan with goals for all its material topics that also addresses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations.
