During the production of hydrocarbons, emulsion is formed by the natural emulsifying agents in petroleum, as well as water and sediments, affecting quality, productivity, and process cost. The use of chemical additives in the treatment of the produced fluids is essential to ensure the quality of the oil produced.

ULTROIL® EB 1030 assists in the oil dehydration process by breaking down the stable emulsion between the aqueous and oil phases. The product adds value to the oil produced by reducing the percentage of water, viscosity, and salinity. ULTROIL® EB 1030 is best suited for processes with a reduced retention time, as its main characteristic is to quickly break the emulsion down, so enabling the water droplets present in the oil to coalesce.

This demulsifier is found in the family of alkoxylated resins and is commonly used in the oil industry, in offshore and onshore scenarios.
