Ethoxylated alcohols are the largest family of nonionic surfactants. They are highly useful in applications that serve multiple markets. Each consists of a hydrophobic group from oleochemical or petrochemical source combined with varying amount of ethylene oxide.
Oxiteno's line of ethoxylated alcohols includes an extensive range of linear and branched hydrophobes, as well as a broad range of degree of ethoxylation. These act as wetting and solubilizing agents, detergents, dispersants, emulsifiers, emollients, and degreasers.
Much of Oxiteno's portfolio is listed on Cleangredients and can be certified for Kosher, Halal, and RSPO mass balance. For applications with additional restrictions and purity requirements such low dioxane* content, products are available.
