ULTRATINT® TM 30

Improves mechanical film properties such as flexibility and resistance in various 2K systems in industrial paints

Oxiteno has a building block line with products used as monomers for the synthesis of various performance resins and as reactive diluents, enabling excellent finishing features, such as flexibility and substrate adherence of industrial coatings.

The ULTRATINT® building blocks line includes alkoxylated polyols used to improve the performance of automotive and industrial paints. The line helps to fine-tune properties such as hardness, resistance, and flexibility for a high-performance coating. These products can be used in the manufacture of alkyd resins, polyester, and epoxy or even in the final formulation of paints or varnishes, either in polyurethane and melamine systems, both in water-based and solvent-based technologies.

Alkoxylated polyols: What are they?

Alkoxylated polyols result from the reaction of ethoxylation or poxylation of a particular chemical species, leading to oligomeric branches with functional hydroxyl termination.

ULTRATINT® TM 30 is a polyol used to improve mechanical film properties such as flexibility and resistance. It is especially efficient in bicomponent systems for the industry in general and can be used to synthesize various resins.

Why choose the ULTRATINT® TM 30 building block?

  • Effective for fine-tuning properties such as hardness, adhesion, and impact resistance;
  • Easy handling and incorporation into the process;
  • Possibility to formulate high solid paints, reducing emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere;
  • Solublein water and organic solvents;
  • It can be used in polyol-melamine systems to improve film properties;
  • Technology allows the configuration of polyols of various molecular structures.
