Indovinya understands social responsibility as a broad and comprehensive topic. Within the company’s 2030 Strategic Plan, this pillar is a transversal theme. Indovinya knows that it is responsible for the impacts of its decisions and activities. In this way, it dedicates efforts to developing its supply chain, caring for society in the communities surrounding its factories, developing an inclusive and balanced environment for its employees, and with this, serving customers with solutions aligned to the needs and with positive environmental and social impacts.

We were recognized in the EcoVadis Platinum category, reaching 80 points. This is a sustainability rating platform for global supply chains.

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

Indovinya is a member of the RSPO, a non-profit organization that ensures the entire palm oil production chain meet the sustainability of palm oil trade. Certification safeguards the criteria for processing palm oil products are met in a sustainable manner.

SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES

Indovinya created two pillars of action for the social responsibility strategy. The first is to use chemistry as an agent of social transformation. The second pillar is to prioritize local development, minimizing social adversities in communities close to operations.

Indovinya seeks to daily support three causes that are linked to some themes:

  • Fight hunger and poverty
  • Education
  • Entrepreneurship and Income Generation

The target audience was children, young people and adults from communities close to the operations.

To this end, it directs its social investments, sponsorships and donations preferably towards educational projects and programs that are close to its factories.

Indovinya works on each cause through its transformation tools. These are: Private Social Investment, Relationships and strategic partnerships, Investment via the Incentive Law and Social Engagement which consists of the internal Volunteering Program.
